OUR BELIEFS

The Bible

We believe the Bible, as originally given, is without error. It is fully inspired by God, completely trustworthy, and the final authority in all matters of faith and life.

The Saviour

We believe in the full deity and true humanity of Jesus Christ. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, taught with authority, died as a sacrifice for sin, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, intercedes for us, and will return to gather His Church.

Salvation

We believe that salvation comes through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ. Through His death, we are forgiven and made right with God by grace. This is received through faith and shown by a changed life and the Fruit of the Spirit.

The Ministry

We believe that Christ has given the Church apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still active today and should operate in the Church as described in the New Testament.

The Coming King

We believe that Jesus Christ will return in person, in power, and in glory to reign and fulfil His promises.

The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are equal and united in creation, redemption, and all things.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is God, sent by the Father and the Son. He brings conviction, new birth, and growth in holiness. Believers are also given power through the baptism in the Holy Spirit, with speaking in tongues as one of the signs.

The Great Commission

We believe the Gospel speaks to every part of life. The Church is called to preach the good news, and to minister healing and deliverance to meet both spiritual and physical needs.

The Ordinances

We believe in water baptism for believers, following Christ’s command, and in remembering His death through the Lord’s Supper until He returns.

The Life to Come

We believe in the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, and eternal life. The righteous will live forever in God’s presence. The wicked will face eternal separation from Him.
